Paiute Origin Myth

Author Carol Ormond and Bingham Gallery owners Paul and Susan Bingham have compiled historical photos and historical research about the Paiute Nation of the southwest. The resulting book is titled, "The People". This illustration is included in the book and can be seen currently at the Bingham Gallery in Mt. Carmel, Utah. Similar to the Greek myth of Pandora's Box, a curious young native american boy opened a sack he was forbidden to look into. Out rushed the Paiute Nation into the desert.
