Welcome to Dilleen Marsh Fine Art

"I am the possibility of clearly, boldly, and thoughtfully communicating IDEAS through art." For 14 years I was a magazine designer and for over 46 years I have illustrated for magazines and books. Eleven books for children have been published with my artwork, including a graphic novel debuting in 2023 about a young Hungarian Holocaust victim. This graphic novel, "Hidden", which was awarded both Teachers and Librarians Favorites by the Children's Book Council in 2024, is part of a campaign to educate children about the dangers of bullying. While raising my own children, I was active in leading community art programs for children. At dilleenmarshart.com, a blog, you can find several how-tos for children's art projects and other art adventures. I have taught art classes to all ages, in schools, at home, and at a university. My artwork has exhibited in galleries and won awards in art shows. In 2014 I started posting pen and ink sketches and written ramblings on Instagram @dilleenart and then posting Halloween tales and other visionary art @outofdilleensmind. On this website, dilleenmarsh.com, you will find, primarily, my oil paintings on a variety of subjects--but always emphasizing the wonderful world of IDEAS.
